Who we are
We work in nearshore ocean ecosystems to advance restoration science in adaptation to global and local change
We are a team of researchers and students based at the Estuary & Ocean Science Center, a field campus of San Francisco State University in Tiburon, California
What we do
We study the interactions of species and environmental conditions along shores, primarily in estuaries. We apply our findings to restoration and nature-based adaptation to climate change. Our research focuses on foundational habitats, including tidal marshes, seagrass beds, and oyster reefs.
